Studio Tora

I'm Tora — 39 years old, husband, father. I've been drawing manga since childhood, long before I understood what storytelling really meant. I studied art at the Paul Klee Artistic Lyceum in Genoa, Italy, graduating in 2005. My real education, though, came from growing up immersed in manga and anime. Twisted Crown is a passion project born from a lifelong love of anime and storytelling. I'm creating this dark fantasy epic entirely outside the traditional industry — no studios, no committees. Just pure creative freedom. Every frame, from the writing to the animation to the sound design, is crafted by one person with one obsession. This is the anime I've always dreamed of. Bold, raw, and uncompromising. A tribute to the raw spirit of 90s anime. A legacy for my son - A tribute to my father.
