Social Data Deletion

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This page explains how to disconnect a social account and request deletion of data that YouArt received from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or TikTok.

Disconnect One Account

Sign in to YouArt, open Social Accounts, choose the connected account, and select Disconnect. This stops new publishing through that connection. Where the platform supports authorization revocation, YouArt also asks the platform to revoke the authorization.

You can also remove YouArt from the connected apps or security settings on the social platform. Removing access there prevents future API access, but it may not notify us immediately. To remove the corresponding data from YouArt as well, disconnect it in YouArt or submit a deletion request below.

Request Deletion

Email support@youart.ai from the email address on your YouArt account with the subject Social data deletion request. Include:

  • the social platform;
  • the display name or profile, Page, channel, or organization URL;
  • whether you want one connection removed or all connected social data removed; and
  • any YouArt support ID shown with the connection or publishing error.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, authorization codes, identity documents, or payment information. We may ask you to sign in or complete another proportionate verification step before processing a request. We will acknowledge the request, provide a reference you can use to check its status, and complete it within the period required by applicable law and platform policy.

What We Delete

Subject to required security, dispute, and legal records, deletion covers:

  • access and refresh tokens and other stored authorization credentials;
  • the connected account identifier, display name, profile image, and granted permissions;
  • imported or cached restricted platform data and performance metrics; and
  • pending publishing jobs that have not already been sent to the platform.

We may retain minimal consent, security, delivery, and deletion records when needed to demonstrate compliance, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations. Those records do not contain reusable social account credentials.

Content Already Published

Disconnecting or deleting data in YouArt does not automatically remove content that has already been published on a social platform. Delete that content on the platform itself. Where YouArt offers a delete action and the authorization is still active, you may also request deletion through YouArt before disconnecting.

Copies retained by the social platform are governed by that platform's terms and privacy policy. Search engines, recipients, or other users may also retain copies that neither YouArt nor the platform can control.

Delete Your YouArt Account

To request deletion of your entire YouArt account and its associated data, email support@youart.ai from your account email. State that you want to delete the entire YouArt account. This also starts deletion of connected social authorizations and social data, subject to the exceptions described above.
