Specialized Tools for Images and Video

During the creative process you will hit practical hurdles: awkward angles, unsatisfactory details, low efficiency in storyboarding, or blurry video. Instead of rewriting prompts and re-running models, reach for the "one-click" utility tools that live on the workflow canvas.

Image Tools

Every image tool is a node. Connect an Image Loader (or the output of an upstream image node) into it, set whatever parameters it exposes, and press Run. Open the "Choose an Image Tool" picker to see the whole set at once, with the credits a run will cost shown on each row.

The Image Tools list, where Change Angle and Image Inpaint are selected.

Change Angle (Camera)

Adjust camera rotation, tilt, or distance to quickly generate new perspectives based on a reference image.

  1. Connect your reference image into the Change Angle node.
  2. Set Rotation, Tilt and Distance to describe the view you want.
  3. Press Run; the new perspective appears above the node.

Image Inpaint (Partial Redraw)

Use a mask and prompts to refine specific areas of an image. Feed the picture into an Image Inpaint node and write what should change in the Prompt field, for example "remove the pipe".

Feeding a photo from Image Loader into an Image Inpaint node, then running the prompt "remove the pipe".

To say exactly which pixels are allowed to change, open the fullscreen editor and switch to the Inpaint tab. Brush, rectangle and eraser tools plus three brush sizes let you paint the mask, and Clear, undo and redo are there when a stroke goes wide. Press Complete when the mask is ready, then Run the node.

The Inpaint tab: brush a mask over the area to change, then press Complete.

Split Image

Best used with Banana Pro. Generate a storyboard first (refer to our Film/Ad-grade Storyboard SOP), then use this tool to split 3x3 or multi-grid boards into individual frames for further processing. Set Grid Size to match the board and each cell leaves the node on its own numbered output handle, ready to feed the next step.

Split Image breaks a 3x3 grid render into nine separate shot images on the canvas.

Remove Background

One-click isolation of subjects; ideal for e-commerce, portraits, and character asset reuse.

Connect an Image Loader into the Remove Background node, then press Run to isolate the subject.

Upscale Image (Standard / Fast)

Increase resolution without losing detail. Standard prioritizes quality, while Fast prioritizes speed for quick previews.

Feed an Image Loader into the Upscale Image node, then press Run to raise the resolution.

Expand Image

Extend content beyond the original frame to fit different aspect ratios or complete a composition.

Resize / Aspect

Quickly crop or adjust aspect ratios for specific platform specifications.

Composite

Simply combine multiple images for basic visual integration or layout testing.

Video Tools

Upscale Video (FlashVSR / Topaz)

AI videos are often generated at 720p or 1080p. Use these to enhance clarity and visual quality. Run the video node first, then send its output into the upscaler and choose an upscale factor.

Stitch Videos

Merge multiple clips into a single, complete video file. Connect each clip into the node, then Run.

One image drives two video nodes, then both clips feed the Stitch Videos node.

Utility Tools

Media Editor

For basic on-site video editing. It opens over the canvas with your clip on its own timeline track, so small edits never leave YouArt.

The Media Editor opens over the canvas with the selected image on its own timeline track.

Text Tool

Used for script processing or text annotations.

With these utilities within reach, most fixes stay on the canvas instead of turning into another round of prompt writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Upscale Image Standard and Fast?

Both raise the resolution of an image without losing detail. Standard prioritizes quality, while the fast option prioritizes speed and is meant for quick previews.

How do I split a 3x3 storyboard grid into separate images?

Use the Split Image tool, which works best with Banana Pro. Generate the storyboard grid first, then connect it into a Split Image node, set the Grid Size to match the board, and press Run. Each cell leaves the node on its own numbered output handle, so every frame can be processed separately.

Can I improve the quality of a video generated in YouArt?

Yes. AI videos are often generated at 720p or 1080p, so YouArt provides Upscale Video with FlashVSR and Topaz to enhance clarity and visual quality. Connect the output of your video node into the upscaler, choose an upscale factor, and run it. You can also merge several clips into one file with Stitch Videos.
