Free AI video upscaler - FlashVSR

AI Video Upscaler (FlashVSR): upscale 2x or 4x, audio kept intact

Drop in a clip, pick 2x or 4x, and press one button. FlashVSR rebuilds detail as it enlarges and holds it steady from frame to frame, colour correction runs by default - and the original audio comes back attached and still in sync, so there is nothing to re-marry in an edit.

Resolution factor

A multiplier, not a resolution menu: 2× takes 1080p to 4K, and 4× takes 540p there. Four is the ceiling on this page.

The audio is preserved and colour correction is on — there is nothing else to set.

30 credits

The upscaled clip opens in a session you can come back to, at the factor you picked, with its audio still attached.

How it works

Upscale a video in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Upload your video

Drop in an MP4, MOV, WebM or M4V up to 50 MB on Free and Basic, or 200 MB on Pro and above. Phone footage, an interview recording, an old family clip, a screen capture — anything that needs more pixels than it was given, and still needs its sound.

  2. Step 2

    Pick 2× or 4×

The factor multiplies both sides, so 2× is the 1080p-to-4K step and 4× is for footage that started small. Everything else is handled for you: colour correction is on and the audio track is preserved.

  3. Step 3

    Generate and download

The finished clip opens in a session that belongs to you, sound and all, ready to download or to carry into another tool.

Before and after

Sharper picture, same recording

  • A soft 480 × 270 webcam-grade recording brought up with colour correction applied. The pair is muted here, but the run keeps the original audio track attached and in sync.
  • A soft 480 × 270 social clip, the kind that comes back from a re-upload. Close-up work is where softness shows worst, so watch the herbs and the grain of the board.

What it is for

When the picture has to improve and the sound has to survive

Interviews, vlogs and podcasts

When someone is speaking, the audio is the content. Here the soundtrack comes back attached to the enlarged clip and still in sync, so there is nothing to line up again afterwards and nothing to bring in separately.

Old home footage

Camcorder transfers and early phone clips were recorded at a fraction of what a modern screen expects — and the voices on them are half the reason anyone kept the tape. Both come through the run.

Tutorials and screen recordings

Course footage, product walkthroughs and demo captures live or die on whether the on-screen text is legible. Enlarging reconstructs those edges instead of blending them, and the narration stays where it was.

Repurposing for social

A clip pulled from an older upload or a compressed download arrives well under what a full-screen feed expects. Bring it up to delivery resolution before you cut it, with its audio intact.

What makes this different

Bigger picture, same recording

The audio comes with it

Preserving the soundtrack is the default here, not a setting to go and find. The enhanced clip returns with the original track still attached and still in sync, so an interview, a lesson or a piece of family footage comes back as the same recording, only larger.

Up to 4×, on both sides

The factor applies to width and height at once, so 2× is four times the pixels and 4× is sixteen. Four is the ceiling on this page. Pick for where the footage has to land rather than for the biggest number: a source that is already sharp gains little from a larger factor.

Steady detail, corrected colour

The detail is reconstructed along the clip rather than one frame at a time, so new texture does not crawl or flicker as the shot moves — temporal consistency is the difference between an enhanced video and a stack of separately enhanced stills. Colour correction runs alongside it by default, keeping the enlarged footage in the same register as the original.

Pay per clip, not per month

Video is priced by the second of source footage, so a short clip costs what a short clip should. Every plan includes credits, and they work on any other tool on YouArt.

Questions

FlashVSR video upscaler FAQ

FlashVSR is a video super-resolution model: it raises a clip's resolution by reconstructing detail in every frame rather than stretching the pixels already there, and it reads neighbouring frames so new texture does not crawl between them. This page runs it at 2x or 4x with colour correction on by default, and hands the original audio track back with the result.

Beyond one clip

Need more than one upscaled clip?

This page runs one fixed step. Open the workflow editor to chain an upscale onto a generated clip, feed it into an edit, or push a batch of footage through the same graph.
