Image Generation: Text-to-Image and Image Editing

Image generation happens on the canvas: you create an image node, tell it what you want, and run it. The same node is also your editing surface, because it can take your own pictures or the output of another node as input.

Text-to-image

  1. Double-click the canvas to create an Image Node.
  2. Select a model, for example Nano Banana Pro.
  3. Enter your prompt.
  4. Click Generate.
Create an image node, pick a model such as Nano Banana Pro, then set the prompt and parameters.

Common parameters

  • Prompt — core creative instructions.
  • Resolution — 1K, 2K or 4K (supported by Nano Banana Pro).
  • Aspect ratio — the composition ratio of the frame.
  • Image count — generate 1 to 4 images at once.
  • Batch run — run the model multiple times.

Image count vs. batch run

Both settings leave you with more than one result, but they are not the same control.

On the node itself, the x1 control is the image count.

Image count: the x1 control sets how many images each run generates.

Batch Run sits in the dropdown next to the Run button.

The Run dropdown on an image node reveals Batch Run, which repeats the same settings.

Batch Run consumes credits per run, so the dialog asks you for the number of runs and shows the estimated cost and your balance before you confirm.

Batch Run: set the number of runs and confirm the credit cost before running the node.

Historical results can be viewed in the node records.

Single image editing

Import external images

  • Double-click the canvas to create a node, select "Load Image", and upload your file.
  • Or simply drag and drop an image from your computer onto the canvas.

Branch from an existing image

Click the "+" on the right side of a node to create a connected node, then modify the prompt or the parameters. The system inherits the base settings of the original image and applies your changes only to the current node, so the original stays untouched.

Dragging from a node's output handle onto empty canvas opens the Add a node menu.

Multi-image editing

When you need to fuse multiple assets:

  1. Prepare multiple reference images.
  2. Create a new Image Node.
  3. Connect multiple nodes to it simultaneously.

You can adjust the fusion logic by dragging the sequence.

Connecting multiple image nodes as references — each feeds the Sources tray in order (#1, #2).

This is ideal for integrating characters into scenes, visual consolidation of assets, or creating storyboards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between image count and batch run?

Image count generates multiple alternatives at once, from 1 to 4 images, which is the quickest way to find the right feel. Batch run repeats the same settings and runs the model multiple times, consuming credits per run. Historical results can be viewed in the node records.

How do I use my own image instead of generating one?

Double-click the canvas to create a node, select Load Image and upload your file. You can also simply drag and drop an image from your computer onto the canvas.

How do I edit an image I already generated without losing the original?

Click the plus button on the right side of the node to create a connected node, then modify the prompt or the parameters. The system inherits the base settings of the original image and applies your changes only to the current node.

How do I combine several reference images into one picture?

Prepare your reference images, create a new image node, and connect multiple nodes to it at the same time. You can adjust the fusion logic by dragging the sequence. This is ideal for integrating characters into scenes, consolidating visual assets, or creating storyboards.
