AI furry art generator
Name a species, where its markings sit, one outfit and an expression, and get an original anthro character back: a head built on a real muzzle and animal ear set rather than a human face with ears added, markings placed symmetrically so the design could be drawn again, and a palette tight enough to be somebody's character rather than a one-off picture. Upload a photo and it carries your colouring, hair and clothes across into the design instead.

How it works
Species and build decide most of the design — a broad-shouldered timber wolf and a small quick fennec are different characters before you have named a single colour. Attach a photo instead if you want your own colouring carried across.
Name the base colour, then where the second one actually sits — socks, a face mask, a chest blaze, a tail tip — then one accent, then stop. YouArt returns one 1K square design for 8 credits.
Most of these end up as a profile picture. Look at the result at avatar size: a design that loses its markings that small needs fewer colours, not more detail.
What the generator controls
Muzzle length, nose, ear set and eye placement come from the animal, not from a human face with ears added on top. That single difference is what makes a design read as an anthro character rather than a costume.
Markings sit symmetrically and the palette is held to two or three colours plus one accent. That constraint is the difference between a picture and a design — a character has to be repeatable to be yours.
The generator declines an existing franchise's animal character, a community-owned closed species such as a protogen, sergal or Dutch angel dragon, and another artist's established fursona. A fursona is somebody's identity, and copied designs are treated that way.
Prompt ideas
Name where the second colour sits rather than listing colours — "cream socks and a chest blaze" is a design, "brown and cream" is a swatch. One garment and one expression is usually enough.
A broad-shouldered grey timber wolf anthro, heavy through the chest, standing square, calm expression, plain backdrop.
A sand-coloured fennec anthro with cream socks, a cream chest blaze and a black nose bridge, huge ears, one teal accent on the collar.
A russet fox anthro in a teal hoodie with the hood down, headphones round the neck, an easy half-smile, chest-up.
Ways to use it
Discord, Twitch, Bluesky and gaming profiles are what most of these are for, which is why the default framing is a chest-up bust and why the markings are built to survive being shown small.
A picture is a clearer starting point than a paragraph when you are briefing an artist. This is a reference to hand over and pay someone to interpret, not a substitute for the commission.
A face for a tabletop character, a forum roleplay, a story or a VTuber concept, settled before the first session rather than described every time.
Once a design settles it makes good chat and laptop stickers. Take it to the sticker generator for a die-cut border, or the background remover for a transparent cut-out.
